April, 6, 2009. The Arab City Council, at its regular bi-weekly meeting, approved Otelco’s request for a Television franchise within the City Limits. The Brindlee Mountain Telephone Company has begun the necessary technical and infrastructure improvements to begin offering Digital IPTV within the Arab City Limits as quickly as possible. Deployment is expected to begin within the next 60 days. Customers who can be served in the initial roll-out will be contacted directly, but interested Arab area residents are encouraged to contact Otelco’s Arab office at 256-586-2682 for more information.
